I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become — Carl Jung
My Philosophy
Painful experiences and symptoms are more than just obstacles to overcome—they are calls to heal, shift, and grow. They invite us to look inward, tend to what needs care, and create meaningful change in our lives. My own path has shown me that our deepest pain can also be our greatest teacher, guiding us toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and transformation. This belief is at the core of my work.
I resonate deeply with the idea that the healing journey isn’t something we navigate alone. I am deeply honored to walk beside you through the challenging and often uncharted waters of healing. I bring not only professional training, but also the insight that comes from having done, and continuing to do, this work myself.
My commitment is to hold space for you with warmth, presence, and deep respect for your unique process. Healing is possible, and I am here to support you in creating a life that feels more joyful, fulfilling, and aligned.
My Approach
While mental health challenges can have a biological component, I work through the lens that views symptoms as the result of a dysregulated nervous system and fragmented or exiled internal “parts.” Chronic dysregulation and fragmentation often stem from painful or traumatic life experiences and prolonged stress—times when we lacked the tools, support, or safety needed to regulate and integrate our experiences.
Healing happens when we restore nervous system regulation and bring compassionate awareness to the wounded parts of us that have been exiled. Through this process, we can begin to integrate those experiences into wholeness. My approach combines somatic (body-based) and mindfulness modalities, Internal Family Systems (IFS), neuroplasticity, self-compassion, and polyvagal techniques. By addressing the mind, body, and spirit through both top-down and bottom-up approaches, we create lasting shifts that foster healing, resilience, and greater alignment with yourself.
In our therapeutic relationship, I will deeply listen to you, prioritize unconditional compassion, guide and support as we unearth and work through painful experiences, provide encouragement and regulation tools, and ultimately empower you.
I look forward to walking alongside you in your sacred journey.
